Allison and Igor choose wintertime to tight their Knot. Their wedding took place in downtown Hartford, CT. The hotel, church, and venue were within walking distance. It snowed that day, and it was great scenery! Since while we were walking, I had plenty of opportunities to photograph both of them with falling snowflakes all over us and the city.
The bride and groom had their first look at the Residence Inn Marriot, and shortly after that, we took a walk in the Winter Wonderland and stopped at Hartford City Hall to take family photos and some more creative portraits of bride and groom.
From there we went to the First Church of Christ in Hartford where the ceremony was held. The ceremony was blended because the bride is a Methodist and the groom is Jewish. This mix of traditions presented a very unique experience that was full of emotions on both sides of families.
After the ceremony everyone went to The Society Room of Hartford, a gorgeous venue for the reception.
After the wonderful introduction, the new husband and wife had their first dance. The father of the bride gave his toast, and all of the guests had plenty of jokes up their sleeves while celebrating the new couple. After the toasts, the dinner was served, and shortly after Allison had her father daughter dance, and Igor danced with his mother. Cake cutting, party and ciao - an excellent evening!
