At the end of the May, I met my good friend Zbigniew Grzyb who is an amazing artist specializing in abstract painting at the “Staropolska” Polish restaurant in New Britain. While eating pierogis, Zbyg mentioned that a few pieces of his art are hanging in the Reynolds Fine Art Gallery in New Haven. He invited me there, and I just quickly grabbed my camera and lights, and we went there. I took some images of the wall installations, but what really I had in mind was taking portraits of Zbigniew. The results were astonishing, and Zbyg invited me the next day to his studio, which he has occupied for more than a decade. I showed up the next day with a few “abstract ideas” . I photographed the artist while he was preparing to work, while making his art and after a while just nice, calm and retrospective Fine Art Portraitures. I am very happy and proud of my results. Below you will find a link to Zbigniew Grzyb's website and more information about the artist, also a link to the Reynolds Fine Art Gallery which I highly recommend to visit.
